Channing + Andrew are MARRIED!

We are playing a little catch-up here in efforts to share some gorgeous weddings with you!  Next up we have Channing & Andrew's DeBary Country Club celebration.  We have loved thinking back to this beautiful wedding-- the first thing that comes to mind is definitely the overwhelming love and support of Channing & Andrew's families on their wedding day!  Our job as coordinators allows us to meet and work closely with the parents and best friends of our couples, and it was especially a pleasure with the Gerbers!  As a third grade teacher, Channing had some really creative and adorable design ideas!  We loved collaborating with Channing to design her "Apple of my Eye" theme!  These photos are courtesy of Jenny at Captured Photography-- amazing work!  It was a pleasure!

White Blossom Teams Up With Instagram!

If you haven't heard of it already, it is time to jump on the bandwagon! "Instagram is a fast, beautiful and fun way to share your photos with friends and family." This app was originally only available to iPhone users. However, just this past week, Instrgram became available to Android users, as well. The app is free to download, and I guarantee you will be hooked! I was! :] Just snap a picture, choose a filter, and Viola! People are able to follow you, like your photos...etc. There are also photo sharing options! (For all of you Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr lovers out there!) I assure you they are not paying me to talk up their product! ;]

Elemental Inspiration | Aqua + Pink

There are just some things in life that just cannot be overlooked. The absolutely adorable polka dot flower girl dress below happened to be that something in this instance.  It was the main inspiration and the basis off of which this style board was built. Which brings me to the topic of Elemental Inspiration. 

Yes, I made that name up, but don't worry, I have a legitimate point! 

My definition of Elemental Inspiration: The act of finding and loving an element so much, that it becomes all-consuming in the planning process and a main component in the event's identity. This could occur at any point during the planning. 

Once I found that little dress, my entire theme/idea/design had shifted for this inspiration board. It was a complete change, and that is okay. The point is, little details like that can have a big effect on the outcome of your wedding. It is the detailed elements that our brides find, that make our jobs worthwhile, and your wedding that much more memorable. So don't be afraid to fall in love with an "element" and let it creatively inspire your big day! We hope you enjoy that flower girl dress as much as us, and the fun wedding design it inspired!

Throw an Absolutely Stellar Holiday Bash!

December is here and we all know what that means...Holiday Parties Galore! The girls of White Blossom love nothing more than a stellar holiday party. We not only love to be in attendance, we love planning and coordinating them as well! So keep us in mind during this busy season! Guests love personal touches! The table is the perfect 
place for creativity in that department!

It's so important to fill the silence. What better way to do so than with 
the sounds of the season! I am personally recommending Michael Buble's newest 
Christmas Album! It's mellow enough to use as background to a Mingling Murmur.

Wedding Guest Etiquette

As a wedding guest it is important to be aware of the etiquette and standards at which you are being held. I'll be giving you a few pointers to ensure you are always the ideal guest, and not that guest that is minutes from getting asked to leave! So get reading, you have a lot to learn! :]

1. Don't be late! If you are attending the ceremony, then it is vital that you give yourself plenty of time to arrive and get settled! This is even more important if you have never been to the location. Interrupting the processional to find a seat is one disaster no bride wants!

2. Leave the photo-taking to the professionals! I know you are just dying to snap a picture of the bride and groom to mobile upload to your Facebook page, but it takes away from the ceremony! I suggest getting those pictures during the reception. It is a much more laid-back, appropriate time for photos! 

3. Leave your boyfriend at home! I know you were looking forward to the two of you getting all fancy, but if that invite only says your name, then it means just that. Some couples cut costs by eliminating the "+ Guest" next to their guest's name. Bringing an unexpected guest is really impolite, so stick to that invite!

4. Drink in Moderation! You certainly do not want to be THAT guest that embarrasses themselves in their sloppy drunken state. And the truth is, you'll probably embarrass the bride and groom, as well. It is important to know your limits!


5. The Wedding gift - do's and don'ts! If you received an invite, but are unable to attend, it is still customary that you send a wedding gift. Another question that is often pondered is whether or not you should bring a wedding gift with you when you attend. You certainly can, but that just means someone will have to be in charge of taking it home, when the couple probably will not even get it until after their honeymoon. My advice, if it's not a card, send it to the couple. It makes life so much easier for everyone!


6. RSVP, ASAP. When you get that invitation in the mail, it is so important to RSVP as soon as you can! It is important because lots of times it can impact numbers in terms of favors, place cards, seating and even the count for the caterer.


7. What not to wear! I am no Stacy and Clinton of wedding attire, but I definitely have some advice. Some etiquette books say it is okay to wear white to a wedding, but we say no! It is just going to create more buzz than necessary, so keep that cute, white dress for another occasion! Also, it used to be said that you should not wear black to a wedding. This is a total myth. Wear black, I promise you the bride will not even notice! If the dress is indicated on the invitation, follow it, it's there for a reason!


8. Finally, be respectful. This goes for everything. Be respectful of those around you, the couple's traditions and culture, and the festivities of the day...etc. Let the couple have their moment!

Modern Orange & Gray Color Inspiration

Modern is definitely the first word that comes to mind when pairing any color with gray. For this little bit of inspiration, I paired gray with orange. This is a fun color combo that works lovely for the fall, or any other season for that matter. What I really love about this pair is that it subtlety says "fall" without the leaves and pumpkins! Sometimes subtle is just what you need to make a good impression! Another great asset about this color combo is that you can easily add in an accent color! Below, I added in the yellow-gold, to help you get an idea. Hope you feel inspired, Enjoy!

Fall Wedding Inspiration

Fall is finally coming, and that means a whole lot more than just shorter days and cooler weather! It means we get to play with the lush colors of nature, the fruits of the season, and so much more! Here is just a little fall wedding inspiration, that might just make you fall in love all over again! Enjoy!

1. Have blankets for your guests if it is an outdoor wedding/reception. It not only brings in some color, but it can really keep up the warm atmosphere during the entire event!
2. Keep the theme going with Fall-themed favors for your guests at the end of the evening. Candy apples are just one of the many, many things you could give! 
3. The Candy Bar is definitely something that has been quite the trend in the industry lately. How about mixing it up a little by doing a Candy or Caramel Apple Bar?
4. You just can’t beat the photographs taken at fall weddings, with the foliage in sight. 
5. We love the warm, lush colors of autumn. They are certainly not limited to the ones shown above! 
6. Seasonal flowers and unique elements tied into the bouquets and boutonnieres. The possibilities are truly endless! 

Mary & Francesco's LPGA Wedding

Mary and Francesco had such a special wedding day in June!  They began the day at Port Orange Presbyterian Church, where they exchanged marriage vows and celebrated the baptism of their adorable daughter.   With guests arriving from all corners of the globe, the celebration was truly joyful as old family and friends reunited for this happy day.  As we were walking through the reception, we must have heard six different languages being spoken, with what we're sure was one common theme:  Mary & Francesco were in love and their families were overjoyed to share it with them!
Our custom gold linens and charger plates really allowed the vibrant red Freedom roses to pop.  Rachael Kasie Designs provided the beautiful centerpieces of submerged orchids with floating candles and red ribbon treatment.  The head table had a lush bed of roses that carried over to the show-stopping gold scrolled cake provided by the Pastry Studio. 

If there was one thing that really stands out about the reception, it was definitely the FOOD!  The staff at LPGA went all out to create a magnificent menu, from multiple carving stations, to a buffet with four entree choices, to personal creme brulee offerings!
