Glenda + Todd Renew their Vows

We recently had the pleasure of coordinating the Guffey family's reaffirmation of marriage vows during an intimate sunset ceremony at a private residence in Ponce Inlet.  Lon from Sensational Ceremonies officiated the celebration, while Glenda & Todd stood beneath our bamboo arbor with their children and promised to love and honor each other always.  It was a gorgeous evening and a special memory for us all.  Much love and best wishes to the Guffeys!

Mint To Be | Inspiration

I must prelude this inspiration board with a little back story behind my history with the color Mint Green. I was a dancer, and in the 5th grade we were performing the Nutcracker for our Spring Recital. Our part of the ballet, was the Waltz of the Flower. Well, when I found out that we would be choosing the color we wore with our partner, out of a hat, I knew my bad luck would ultimately win. I was chosen last out of that hat, and forced to wear the fluffiest Mint Green Tutu ever! You can bet that I never stopped talking about how I got stuck wearing the most horrible color in the entire group.
My 5th grade feelings about the color, are quite contrary to what I feel now. Mint Green has been on the rise for some time now, and it is so fresh, so trendy. I really adore the feeling it gives off.
In this inspiration Board, "Mint To Be," I included delicate details of ivory and variations of mint. I imagine this wedding in the summer, at a lovely garden location, full of lush florals and succulents. Here is just a little bit of that vision below! I hope you are inspired! Thanks for stopping by! :]

Elemental Inspiration | Aqua + Pink

There are just some things in life that just cannot be overlooked. The absolutely adorable polka dot flower girl dress below happened to be that something in this instance.  It was the main inspiration and the basis off of which this style board was built. Which brings me to the topic of Elemental Inspiration.
Yes, I made that name up, but don't worry, I have a legitimate point!

My definition of Elemental Inspiration: The act of finding and loving an element so much, that it becomes all-consuming in the planning process and a main component in the event's identity. This could occur at any point during the planning.

Once I found that little dress, my entire theme/idea/design had shifted for this inspiration board. It was a complete change, and that is okay. The point is, little details like that can have a big effect on the outcome of your wedding. It is the detailed elements that our brides find, that make our jobs worthwhile, and your wedding that much more memorable. So don't be afraid to fall in love with an "element" and let it creatively inspire your big day! We hope you enjoy that flower girl dress as much as us, and the fun wedding design it inspired!

Spring Color Forecast | Navy & Coral

Hi Lovelies!
We are busy as bees at over here at White Blossom getting ready for some fabulous weddings, that we cannot wait to share with you. In the meantime, I have put together a color combo that is absolutely adorable, and so fun for spring or summer! Navy Blue and a Tangerine/Coral were both on the Pantone 2012 spring color forecast for weddings by The Dessy Group

I combined these colors in hopes of finding an edge to the sometimes blah navy blue. The contrasting colors make this combo an eye-catcher. I added classic elements in hopes of creating an upscale feel. I hope ya'll enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it! :] Have a great day, and as always, thanks for stopping by!

The Wedding Countdown Calendar!

When should I send my invites? When is the last possible date my girls should order their dresses? When does my guest list need to be finalized? When, When, WHEN?!

These are questions we hear over and over and over again! Even if you hire a planner for your event or wedding, it is important to keep your time organized! I have put together a basic timeline that goes through the basis of when things need to be done in accordance with the time of your wedding. This is just a general 1 year-to-wedding timeline. We are more than aware that some weddings are planned in a few months as opposed to a year or more! And that's perfectly okay! This is just a way to keep ya'll a little more on track! And hopefully answer some of those stubborn questions! Also, when you plan with White Blossom Weddings and Events, we personalize a timeline similar to this just for you! :] Happy Wedding Countdown, lovelies!

Monica + Mike | Hammock Beach Wedding

8.27.11 - Monica + Mike were SUCH a pleasure to work with! The details of their beachy soiree were unforgettable, much like themselves. From Monica's walk down the aisle, to the very last dance, the wedding couldn't have been any more perfect for these two. They had a lovely ceremony at Hammock Beach Resort, complete with bow ties and love. White Rose Entertainment provided all of the entertainment and music for the couple's night of dancing and fun. The bouquets and flowers were all done by the fabulous, Blooming Flowers & Gifts. These photos were taken and provided to us by Emily Scott, owner of Gem Photo. Lastly, Hair and Makeup was done by Hillary. We were so happy to have had the chance to work with this beautiful couple, and we simply cannot wish them well enough in the future! ENJOY!
