Monica + Mike | Hammock Beach Wedding

8.27.11 - Monica + Mike were SUCH a pleasure to work with! The details of their beachy soiree were unforgettable, much like themselves. From Monica's walk down the aisle, to the very last dance, the wedding couldn't have been any more perfect for these two. They had a lovely ceremony at Hammock Beach Resort, complete with bow ties and love. White Rose Entertainment provided all of the entertainment and music for the couple's night of dancing and fun. The bouquets and flowers were all done by the fabulous, Blooming Flowers & Gifts. These photos were taken and provided to us by Emily Scott, owner of Gem Photo. Lastly, Hair and Makeup was done by Hillary. We were so happy to have had the chance to work with this beautiful couple, and we simply cannot wish them well enough in the future! ENJOY!

Be My Valentine | Ombre Love

Today is a day that honors love. I hope you all take the time to remind all of those you love, just how much they mean to you. Our lives get hectic (trust me, I know), but aside from the cheesy hearts, chocolates and pick-up lines, today is really about celebrating the emotion in its rarest form. So take today to show just how much you care :]

I have created this Be My Valentine | Ombre Love inspiration board just for all of you. It is a combination of a dark to light color palette (ombre), subtle, but adorable detailing and a true feeling of LOVE. I hope you all enjoy!

And lastly, the girls of White Blossom Weddings wish you all a very Happy Valentine's Day!

Megan + Regan | Hammock Beach Resort

Megan and Regan were such a fabulous couple to work with! They exchanged their vows on a beautiful day this past November. Hammock Beach Resort was the perfect backdrop for their celebration. The wedding was filled with bold colors, sophistication and a whole lot of heavenly treats, made by the The Pastry Studio. Decor and Florals, handled by Unforgettable Events, brought elegance and charm to every aspect of their day! Miss Hillary Rose did the hair and makeup, and Platinum Digital Video documented every second of the day from beginning all the way to fireworks at the end of the night! Yes...FIREWORKS! These lovely photos were taken and provided to us by Savor Photography. Everyone was so great to work with. We hope you LOVE Megan and Regan just as much as we did! ENJOY! :]

DIY Glitter Soles! Make your wedding shoes SHINE!

It's Tuesday-Shoesday at White Blossom, and this is one you certainly do not want to miss! After coming across this in my weekly wedding trend perusing, I knew it was something I had to share with all of you lovelies. This is one way to make your Wedding Shoes SHINE, without overdoing it! Take a look! :]

1. Here's what you need! Loose Glitter, Sponge Brushes and Decoupage! Martha Stewart has a special place in my heart, and I have always sworn by her products. However, you can certainly use Modge Podge or Tacky Glue, and any brand of glitter if you'd like.

2. Mix Glue and Glitter

3. Start painting the Glitter/Glue combo onto the sole of the Shoe. To be safe, you can use painters tape around the edge, just to ensure you don't make a mess of the shoe :] After you brush the glitter/glue on, sprinkle on the loose glitter.

4. Lastly, Touch-up! Take a small paint brush with the glitter/glue and touch up the edges! And after all the sparkles have dried, it is important that you put a layer of clear sealant over the sole. This can be done with Martha's decoupage or Modge Podge! I would even suggest getting paint on glitter. It has been a great sealer in many of my glitter-fied projects! (Martha makes the best!)

Before/After! Fabulous, Righttttt?!!!!

Be Inspired By THIS!

Today, I am bringing you some ideas inspired by one of the 2012 wedding trends! Watercolor is all the hype this year, and it can be used in so many, many ways! The beautiful, soft strokes and colors prove to be a favorable theme for weddings and events of all types! Below I combined a travel-esque theme, with watercolor elements, including the tags on the bottles/favors, the watercolor map guestbook, and the softness of the colors :] I hope you all enjoy this little bit of inspiration, brought to you exclusively by White Blossom Weddings!

Seka & Tiegh's Engagement Session

I am beyond excited to be working with Seka & Tiegh!   When meeting with them the other day at the beautiful Fountain of Youth in Saint Augustine where their wedding will be held, I was like a little kid all wound up about a new toy!  It's a wonderful thing when a bride & groom come along who bring creativity, fresh ideas, and great personal details to the planning process!   I can't WAIT for the wedding coming up this summer-- but for now, feast your eyes upon the most adorable engagement shoot in the history of mankind.  Tiffany Manning from LoveTif Photography did an AMAZING job of capturing how crazy-in-love these two are.  From the story-book proposal featuring a vintage typewriter on the beach at sunrise, to the passion Tiegh and Seka share for leading an action-packed athletic and healthy lifestyle-- this love story is an epic one.  It is truly an honor to be a part of their wedding day.
This shoot was also featured on Style Me Pretty, with Tiffany coveting the deserving spot in the Little Black Book of Vendors. I can't wait to see the images she captures in May!
